starting fresh.

another school semester had begun- another journey to be followed.

wednesday- this is the middle of week 5, and i am in the midst of dont-know-about-the-future feeling.

well today i want to get my priorities straight:

  1. do my best. i want to be in the dean’s list this semester. i have to remember that. listen, do tutorials, and study.
  2. i will not think about the aussie plans for later years. I strongly believe – if it is God’s will, the best will surely come. I had think through for the past 3 weeks and i thought it is useless to think about this tentative PLAN.
  3. Like what Mrs. Maureen said earlier at the end of my high school study, “Lisa, you do not need to think so hard. The key is to have faith. Now you have many doors (University choices)…if you believe in Him, your many doors will be closed- only ONE will be open, and that is God’s answer. ”No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him -1 Cor 2:9.” I think this is true. I wasted my 3 weeks to think about this.
  4. “Dont worry about anything, instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is more wonderful than the human mind can understand.” Phil 4:6-7
  5. I am led to faith once again. I don’t know about tomorrow but i know what Jesus says: Many things about tomorrow I don’t seem to understand- but I know who holds tomorrow, and I  know who holds my hand! what a great song. what a great rendition.

well its mid-week 5 friends!! busyness will come very, very soon :) i will not think about other things- which i considered useless for now…i will study, and i will get my dean’s list.

such an ambitious statement, but the truth is, i really am. so what’s the action steps?

hmm. let me think. some points that can be improved

  1. listen, listen, listen! dont let my mind wander around :(
  2. don’t be late. i regret that i always late for chinese, ais, finance, hrm…i’ll try arrive 10 mins earlier.
  3. revise revise resive. i NEVER revised so far. that’s really bad :( must improve.
  4. do tutorials……not plainly do. do correctly.
  5. understand.
  6. other priorities come behind it.

…………..until next time. :) i am sure i will be back with GOOD NEWS :) :) :)

Today going to cut my hair. a new beginning. a new hope.

My Tribute

How can I say thanks for the things You have done for me,
Things so undeserved,
Yet You give to prove Your love for me,
The voices of a million angels,
Could not express my gratitude,
All that I am, and ever hope to be,
I owe it all to Thee.

To God be the glory,
To God be the glory,
To God be the glory,
For the things He has done,
With His blood He has saved me,
With His power He has raised me,
To God be the glory,
For the things he has done.

Just let me live my life,
Let it be pleasing Lord to Thee,
And should I gain any praise,
Let it go to Calvary.

To God be the glory,
To God be the glory,
To God be the glory,
For the things He has done,
With His blood He has saved me,
With His power He has raised me,
To God be the glory,
For the things He has done.

total dependence

I don’t know about tomorrow. I just live from day to day.

Many things about tomorrow, I don’t seem to understand,

but I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand!

It’s Jesus.

I’m here again to reflect on TOTAL DEPENDENCE.

Yes, sometimes we worry. Sometimes we’re unsure about things going on around us. We’re insecure.  I believe everyone had felt like this before…It’s horrible. Sometimes it hurts. Tough situations help me to rely on God alone. When I put my trust in Him, I’m handling off my burdens.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in EVERYTHING, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. -Phil 4: 6-7.

In order to hope, we must trust. There must be a total surrender.

…not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty. – Zec 4:6

i must recognize this in all areas of my life. :)

it’s 11.50 pm now.

My thoughts are swarming all-around— I love these verses. These are some cornerstones we must have in life. I would like to put them here:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” – 1 Cor 2:9

yes, yes. I will live on this. Thank You Lord.

“And you shall rememberthe LORD your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” – Deut 8:18

I will surrender, always. I will always remember You, forever I’m with You. My greatest honor will always be to serve my Lord & King.Next time, I’ll share you all a vision I got few weeks before. Books had really help me grow more & more. Thank You Jesus!

the beginning of week 11.

Well, I’d written this post around 10 minutes ago, but then the net goes hummphhhh! and…” internet explorer cannot display..” Okay, I guess I must repeat what i wrote before:

I’ve been procrastinating lately. I had to admit that. Although I hate it, well- it goes on.

Until today. Well, I was touched with a totally great sermon today. We must end our undecisiveness.

I really love to share these thoughts for the week ahead. Wow it’s week 11 already!

  1. We must stop procrastinating. Start TODAY. Initiate.
  2. Faithfulness is the key. Be faithful to God, your prayer life, your studies, and your relationship.
  3. Be passionate in everything you do. God will enable you, if you do so. Be a commited person. There’s no such thing as “fashionably late”.
  4. God is faithful, thus we must commit 100% to Him. I have the favor of God.
  5. You’ll love this verse: Whatever you do, do your work HEARTILY, as for the Lord rather than for men. – Col 3:23 (well this one is really powerful. Lord I really want to try this again. And if I believe I will not fail, I will succeed! By faith, faith, faith, I will!)

More than a conqueror, well able to succeed, strong in the Lord, the head and not the tail, the victor and not the victim!!

I’ll keep updating my blog to keep track of everything. Feel free to share and add-ons!

Good night, (i’ll get back to my marketing lecture notes.)
